Brains Variety Of Functions

In the passage “ Are Women Really Better at Multitasking?”  the author states that women are greater than men when it’s come to manage multiple tasks at once. As the author goes on, he mentions that after a study from  a group of British researchers that group 100 students - 50 men and 50 women, they realized that 70 percent of women that were performed the three tasks were exceed  the average of men. Women had a little difficulty achieving multiple tasking,  and beat men poorly when it comes to  accomplish the most complicated task. In addition, the  author admits that through one of  the the tasks where they had to find a lost key, men did not search the whole area, they drop in the middle and start looking for the key. In the other hand, women started differently by searching in one corner then search the whole area. Therefore women are surpassing men when it’s come to stand back.
As far i'm concerned i firmly agree with the author when he states that “ multitasking is a drag on productivity for pretty much everyone”. In another word, this mean that multitasking is a difficult level for almost every body. For this reason the idea that is the most important to me is how brain works. According to studies, some researchers admitted that some people’s brain receive and provides information quietly different than others’ brain. In addition that is the reason of why we notice that some people are smarter than others or better than others when it comes to achieve multiple tasking.
The reason i find this idea important is because some people brains function differently depending of their environment. If you are in noisy area going back and forth through your thinking  decrease the brain’s function. Therefore,  your mind become to work a little bit  slower. For instance, over a test period at Massasoit community College, i remember  that i was not being able to focus during a critical thinking moment while the classroom was noisy. It took me a long time to come out with an  idea that is  acceptable for the topic. My mind was working very slower and  ideas can’t come up. For this reason i end up not finish the essay over the time period they gave me. you can notice that the environment play a part of how some people’s brain exercise.
The second reason i feel this way is because people’s brain are able to handle single tasks better than multiple tasks. The fact that you have to switch quickly from one to another when you doing two tasks at once, often make you lose focus and  end up doing both tasks incorrectly. However, when you focus on one task you  most likely performed better. For instance,my classmate Louis, during  classes period, every subjects is always seen easy to him. But when it’s come to homework, he often has 50% of getting all of the answers correctly. One day  i had a conversation with him after class, and he  admitted  that sometimes he got  some of the homework's answers wrong is  just because he was not focusing that much  on the homework because of talking to some other friends of facebook while he was doing the homeworks . You could notice that multiple tasking is not beneficial for  some people’s brain, and they exceed at single task.
Over all, as the environment could change the way of how some people’s brain function, and some people’s brain  achieve single task better than multiple tasking is consider as two examples of how brains work where the author mention that “ Multitasking is a drag on the productivity for pretty much everyone”. I suggest more people continue focus on doing single tasks for accomplishing more excellent services that would beneficial for the future generation.

Screening issue in the airport security

Hervens  Toussaint

Issues In Airport Screening

In the passage “ Administration To Seek Balance In Airport Screening “  by Scott Shane, he states that people are criticism the airport screening that turned to become too annoying, and Obama administration admit that the measures are made to supported risks. As the author goes on, he mentions that the protest has began on November 1,when the agency present “the more aggressive pat-down procedure”. Therefore, almost all of  the United States population are  using  the body scanners. In addition, he also tells us that both James Carafano security specialist and Bruce Hoffman, an expert on terrorism  warn the administration to modify the screening policy by bound the body scans and pat-downs to secondary screening and withdraw from adding more layers of security for every travelers.
